Austrian opera impresario (1902-1997), well-remembered for his 22 years as the General Manager of the Metropolitan Opera in New York (1950-1972). 

Typed letter in English signed by him, dated May 5, 1964, with the letterhead of the Metropolitan Opera, replying to a lady about the fair and performances. Size is 8.5 x 11 inches, 1 page, folds, overall rust tone, otherwise in excellent condition.
