Typed letter in English signed by him, dated August 16, 1934, to Arturo Toscanini:
“…I see by an announcement made in the London newspapers today that you have agreed to conduct two concerts for the British Broadcasting Corporation in May of next year, and I am wondering whether it would be possible for you to also conduct the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra if I am able to bring it to London at about the same time…”.
Size is 7.9 x 9.9 inches, 2 typed pages in one sheet (front and back), with letterhead, central fold, staple holes at the upper-left corner, in overall very good condition.
