Duncan, Todd - Moten, Etta - Signed Program Majestic Theater 1942

Porgy and Bess program signed by Todd Duncan and Etta Moten. Full program for a revival performance of Porgy and Bess, George Gershwin´s masterpiece opera. This was the new revival from 1942 at the Majestic Theater, a shortened and highly successful version of the original. Signed on cover by Todd Duncan, the original Porgy at the 1935 world premiere of the Opera, and Etta Moten. Moten was Gerswhin´s preferred Bess for the world premiere, unfortunately couldn´t make it into the role until this revival.
