Grey, Beryl - Signed Pointe Shoe

British dancer (b.1927), was the first Western guest artist to dance at the Bolshoi Ballet in 1957 and the Peking Ballet and Shanghai Company. Also had a great career as instructor and as Artistic Director of The London Festival Ballet.

Signed single pointe shoe, inscribed, with a short sentiment, dated by her in March 1959, was used in performance. Approx. 3 x 8.75 inches, in good condition.
